Shade Loc G Makes It Rain
Shade Loc G does not need security because no one would f*ck with his crew. He showed up in a Laurence Taylor jersey to make a surprise guest appearance to play only one song. He also blazed some herbs during the Three-6-Mafia performance. Shade Loc is one of Denver’s best, so support him by purchasing his latest album NoStressin.         " MORE TO COME IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAY'S.....

D4L RECORDS PRESENTS THE #1 SINGLE GO BY FROM MY BHFLANTA MIXTAPE DOWNLOAD/RETWEET

Atlanta-born and bred trap rapper Shawty Lo, aka Carlos Walker, did not reach national prominence with his street-hustling raps, but by ushering in the "snap dance" craze with the Billboard-topping "Laffy Taffy" as part of his four-man crew, D4L, in 2005. He co-founded both the group and, acting as CEO, the D4L Records label two years earlier with the intention of only working behind the scenes and never really contributing many verses to the group. D4L's debut single, "Betcha Can't Do It Like Me," was a big local hit in Georgia in 2004 and hinted at the group's potential crossover success. Before Shawty Lo saw any of that success, he was convicted on drug charges and had to serve a one-year prison sentence. By the time he was let out in July 2005, the "Laffy Taffy" song, which later would reach number one on the pop charts and break several digital and ringtone sales records, already had blown up. Moreover, D4L and their independent label earned a distribution deal with Atlantic via Asylum Records, who issued their Down for Life (2005) album debut nationwide. Gaining more confidence about his own rapping abilities, Shawty Lo took his solo feature on the Down for Life album, "I'm da Man," and released it locally as an independent single in 2006. After a pair of solo mixtapes with Atlanta's DJ Scream, Shawty Lo obtained his own record deal with Asylum in summer 2007 and delivered his debut album, Units in the City, the following year. The LP was preceded by the hip-hop/R&B chart-climbing single "Dey Know." ~ Cyril Cordor, Rovi

 *botzy*-AKA BUCK FOTZY

Official Site: http://www.BuckFotzy.com | @buckfotzy |  www.facebook.com/141961855823680

Botzy is the consummate Minneapolis rap hustler, recognizing that work ethic extends into every facet of his musical journey. You'll see it on stage and off, the hungry approach to both his craft and his movement, and the passion behind his art from all sides culminates in an impressive final product.

While cutting teeth since 2009 rapping in the genre-bending live band Culture Cry Wolf, Botzy's been able to fine tune his voice and energy enough to handle both solo and group creative efforts. When he attacks tracks on his own - as he has on 2010's Deaf to the Static, various mixtapes, and his upcoming release Buck Fotzy - the songs bare his individual signature, spinning tales of soured relationships and personal struggle with a grin and a sense of humor. Having always held the spark to write and inspire others, his initial work with GAHEDiNDIE ( now known as "Moody Black" ) - and by extension, P.O.S., Carnage, and other MInneapolis heavyweights - shaped his skill with all facets of rap creation.

Bouncing around different cities until finally landing in Minneapolis in 2008, whose scene fit his rhythm and aesthetic impeccably, Botzy has been putting in work as a show curator in addition to his own performances. The successful Best Love Is Free showcase and mix CD release is entering its fifth year of increasing turn-outs, and the support Botzy lends other artists within the local community is impressive.

As a solid figure already in the Minneapolis rap scene, Botzy is ready with the release of Buck Fotzy to take his music to the next level.

*MOSS*

Rapper and singer Moss shows diversity on his latest release, It's Like I'm Famous. "My Zone" has an intergalactic production feel, which complements Moss's deep vocals over a rapid snare, and he spits with confidence on lines like "My flow is hot like I rap with Satan." Not a lot of metaphors to be found here, though, and that seems to be the formula for the entire project. Singing his laid-back rhymes about lost love over the Pete Ryan-produced track "Endless Love," Moss shows he can carry a tune, but he's most impressive when he raps. The Pries-assisted "Hustle 'N' Music" continues the party-style flow of It's Like I'm Famous, and the title track reinforces the premise that while Moss is not yet famous, he most certainly plans on earning that designation at some point.

Why you need to know him: Colorado Moss brings a unique swagger to the Colorado hip hop scene. His synthesis of singing and rapping creates harmony that is hard to come by out here.
